My name is Heather Broadbridge-Longtin. I created this blog when I first became engaged. My life has changed in so many ways since then I am a wife, a mother but no longer a daughter. All of these things have shaped me into who I am. I am about to embark on yet another challenge or name to add to the list - business woman. It's a small step toward my ultimate goal of "what do I want to be when I gorw up".

Sitting up!?
Ok, so I'm not exactly sitting up on my own but it looks good, don't it??
Sigh...this is the life.
(2 months & 5 days old)
2 Months old
Here's Ethan just hangin' out with his teddy bear on his 2 month birthday - Oct 22.
The pj's that he is wearing are a little short now in the legs...if I cut the feet out I might get some more wear out of them!! haha!!! These will be the first of many things that he will grow out of I'm sure.

Ethan's Welcome Party
Auntie Marlene threw Ethan a "Welcome to the Clan" party on October 4th at her home in Cambridge. We had a great turn out, members from both sides of our families came to welcome Ethan. Marlene did an awesome job from the invitations to the food to her wonderful hospitality. We all had a great time...Mom would have loved it.

The Gifts
Here's just a few of the wonderful gifts we received for Ethan that day.
Auntie Marlene made the Winnie the Pooh duvet cover and she also created, from her head, a change pad to match. She is talented....just don't ask her to do it as it usually takes her a long time....I think I'm still waiting for some pillows for my day bed...wait a minute, I don't have that anymore!! See what I mean? I always kid her about that.
Thanks to everyone that came to Ethan's party and for the lovely gifts. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness & generosity.

A Trip to Chappell's Farm
Thanksgiving weekend we took Ethan to Chappell's farm just outside of Barrie. I wanted to get his picture taken in the pumpkin patch. I also dressed him in his Halloween outfit from his Auntie Marlene for the occasion. He was the cutest pumpkin in the patch.
