Just hangin' around
I've got my thumb!!!
My name is Heather Broadbridge-Longtin. I created this blog when I first became engaged. My life has changed in so many ways since then I am a wife, a mother but no longer a daughter. All of these things have shaped me into who I am. I am about to embark on yet another challenge or name to add to the list - business woman. It's a small step toward my ultimate goal of "what do I want to be when I gorw up".

The Company Man
Daddy with Ethan on the day we came home from the hospital. We stopped into Jeff's work to show off our little bundle of joy. Jeff has a picture of Tyler & him like this so he wanted to do the same with Ethan. He's a company man all the way.

Our 1st Anniversary
Happy 1st Anniversary to us! One year ago Jeff & I said "I do"....I can't believe it's been a year already.
This was my favourite part of our whole day...well, yes the kiss but I really mean the ceremony. For me if we didn't have a reception that would have been fine. The ceremony was the best part - the memory I look back on and smile and remember every detail. I'd do it again...it was the happiest I felt in my life.
It's hard to believe it's been a year, it doesn't seem like it. Still feels like were on our honeymoon. Guess that's a good thing. You know what an even better thing is? We have a son, the one created from that love. For that we are blessed.
Here's to a year of marriage under our belts and many more years to come. Cheers!

Our First Walk
Our second week home and we finally managed to get out for a walk. We tried all week and finally got out near the end of the week. We had four dogs run at us...not sure if they were going to do anything...all were off leash and no "Master" in sight. It felt like a test. Luckily nothing happened and our walk was a success.
Bath time
Daddy gives Ethan his first bath at home. He cried the whole time, as you can see. It can only get better....Even though he's crying he's still very cute!!
The Longtin Family
The Longtin family heads home with their precious babe.
Just minutes before leaving the hospital we named Bumpkin - Ethan Wyatt Longtin.
We had a hard time coming up with his name. Ethan means strong, firm. Jeff said he was a strong little guy and when I saw that's what Ethan meant, it stuck. Jeff liked the name Wyatt...so that's how he became Ethan Wyatt.
Coming Home
Chillin' with Daddy
Just a few shots of our little Ethan on the day we left the hospital. Homeward bound.
