Happy 2nd Birthday, Austin!!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Austin. Ethan & I went to cambridge to celebrate Austin's birthday with him. Unfortunately, Uncle Jeff had to work so he wasn't there. It was a good time. The boys had fun. I know Ethan can't wait to get bigger so he can play hockey with his big cousins.

Happy Birthday, Mommy!!

Just 2 days after Jeff turned 40, I had my thirty-something birthday. It was quite the day. We were busy from early in the morning until late in the evening. I forgot to tell Ethan it was Mommy's birthday when I put him to bed the night before so like clock work he woke up at 6AM. So no sleeping in for me. That's ok because we had Mom & baby fitness that morning. After fitness class we went to our friend's house, Sarah & Evan. Where we hung out, had birthday cupcakes and past the time until we could go to the movies. At 1PM we went to the show to see "He's just not that into you". It was good/funny. Ethan enjoyed it too! When the movie was over we went home and got ready to go out for dinner. Jeff took us to a great restaurant in Gravenhurst, The Regatta - Seafood and Steak house. What a place! It was amazing. The food was delicious, it was quiet and cozy and I aquired a taste for red wine, thanks to the fabulous waitress we had. Austrailian wine is the way to go. I can't remember the name of it but it was the best red wine I've ever tasted and I didn't have a headache in the morning!! (even after 1/2 a bottle...what it was my birthday!) And that was how I spent my special day. The best gift was spending it with my "boys".

Happy 40th Birthday, Jeff!

On Feb 10th Jeff turned the big 4-0!! So just days before I threw him a small surprise. I got a few of his close friends together and they took him ice fishing. He was totally surprised when the entourage showed up. He wasn't quite sure what was going on. Wish I had a picture of his face but with baby in arms it would be difficult. I almost missed it myself. It was a bit tricky organizing the "surprise" and even more trying to get Jeff to co-operate. I managed to pull it off and he was very happy. Later in the evening a few more friends & family came for dinner, drinks and pool. It was a great evening.
