Well, sorry folks for not keeping this updated, if you or anyone for that matter is still looking. Being homeless has a way of changing the day to day things you used to take for granted. Like high speed internet or on-line banking. Jeff & I did almost everything on the computer and now it feels primitive to go into a bank or even use telephone banking. We have access to a computer but...have you ever had to use dial-up?? If so you know what I mean. We call it "hamster speed" but I think that is even too fast. If it were any slower I think it would be in reverse. Trying to check emails...that's a nightmare. Bare with me I will get to you.
As for the house hunting...what can I say?? We have looked at...oh who knows...15-20 houses, maybe more. Some had there good points but not enough to get us to buy. Some were real dumps. It's amazing what they can do to houses or photos to make them look good. It gets you there but once your there you want to turn around and leave sometimes. We've seen houses with 3 dogs and 2 cats, another with an ant problem and others with just bad construction. The ones that we did like lacked something we wanted and couldn't settle for without it. So the search continues...
Know that we have not given up hope, not yet anyway. We are alive and well. We have been staying at Jeff's parents mainly with a stop over or two at Marlene's. Marlene doesn't have a computer so that leaves Jeff's parents with the hamster speed computer. They live in a town call Bolsover. I'm sure you will have to look that one up on the map to know where it is. I'll give you a reference point...it is east of Orillia on Lake Simcoe. Amyway, I'll say caio for now and hope that I have good news to tell all of you soon.
Keep smilin'...we still are!!
