Jeff and I just went to our first wedding show. Let me tell you, it is mind boggling. We thought we may have some questions answered but we came away more confused than when we started. You honestly need a game plan before you get engaged because once you announce your engagement people expect things from you...when's the big day, where will it be, who's in your wedding party, how many guests. You're still trying to get over the shock of getting engaged and these people want to know intimate details of your new life. It's a little crazy...but in a good way. My advise...have a game plan ahead of time. It's not enough to have thought about getting married since you were 5 and knowing exactly what you want for your wedding. You need to take time and think about your engagement too! It's just as important and as special as the big day! It is all very exciting don't get me wrong!

I have decided to start a blog to announce the news of Jeff and I getting married and to chronicle the days leading up to the big day. This will help everyone stay in tune with what's happening and it's a great way to share a special time for Jeff and I with all of you, my family and friends.
